Lamps require proper calibration and adjustments. When we perform an installation of a DLP Lamp, we also perform factory trained calibration and TV adjustments to insure you get the clearest and best picture possible.

Other components of your TV have aged over time. DLP Lamp Calibration, more often than not is adjusted with compensation for the aging status of the television, as well as numerous other aspects.

A New Lamp will Require Adjustments to: Geometry, Woublation, Pixel Mapping, Input Signal, Black & White levels ColorWheel, Gamma and  Colorimetry and more.

Time For Routine Maintenance.

When installing a new DLP Lamp, we test for other issues, potential problems that may in fact be shortening the life span of your lamp as well as other components- Not to mention the TV itself. A new Lamp is the perfect time for a routine maintenance and a TV checkup.

Heat is your TV's enemy! It's important to make sure air-flow is not restricted by dust and dirt over time. Dust and dirt can become statically charged, components age faster because of heat. A through internal cleaning along with the Lamp Calibration and Adjustment is crucial. Your DLP has most likely gone several years without needing anything. We can't say that about most newer TV's.
